Novedades de México

Mexico City, Mexico

Novedades de México is a newspaper published in Mexico City. The newspaper was founded by Rómulo O’Farril, and ownership still remains in his family. O’Farrill co-founded Televisa, then called Telesistema, in 1955, along with film producer Emilio Azcárraga (who effectively controlled the company) and former President Miguel Alemán Valdés.

Until 2002 it published an English language sister paper called The News.
