The Stuttgarter Nachrichten (Stuttgart News) is a daily newspaper published in Stuttgart, Germany. Its distribution area extends from the Baden-Württemberg state capital out in the entire metropolitan area of Stuttgart, which counts 2.8 million inhabitants. In April 2011 Christoph Reisinger took over as editor-in-chief.
The newspaper was first published on Nov. 12, 1946. Available under the American military government, the paper was initially published only three times a week.
