The Vorarlberger Nachrichten (Vorarlberg News), aslo known as VN, is the highest reach of newspaper in the Austrian province of Vorarlberg. It has been published under than name since Nov. 16, 1945. Its predecessor the Vorarlberger Landeszeitung (Vorarlberg Journal), was founded in 1887 and published weekly.
VN‘s content is regionally-based. It is also one of the region’s most conservative newspapers. In Vorarlberg, it has a market share of approximately 70 percent. VN is a cooperative of Austria Presse Agentur (Austria Press Agency).
